The original lithographed poster designed and printed by Henri Lemonnier measures 22.5 in wide x 30.25 in tall. The poster is archivally laid down on linen. The bottom edge of the mounted linen got damp at some point and is a tad 'wavy' but the poster is in otherwise excellent condition (see images). The bottom slogan in French translates to English: "The liquor that delights the heart" ___________________________Cordial Médoc is a wine-based liqueur that has been produced in Bordeaux, France since 1878 by G. A. Jourde. The name Cordial - Médoc means "Liqueur from Medoc" and is made by macerating fruits and spices in a cognac-based spirit, then blending with wine distillate from the Médoc region. The final distillate is left to age in old wood casks, then refined with pure cane sugar.
