Description: 1930s vivid red chiffon silk long dress/gown. Textural floral & leaf design with crinkled chiffon and flat silk. Cut on the basis with a beautifully flouncy skirt. No tags. No closures; slips overhead. Snaps at shoulders for undergarments. Condition: the most obvious is the sleeve was taken off & the dress remains with an unfinished seam. I'd suggest the other be removed and the armscye/armhole be finished. The are a couple areas of stress and a few small pinholes. One "heel" hole at hem. Some staining. The other thing to note-the "backside" of the fabric seems to have been used, meaning the "right side" and smoother look is on the inside. This feels intensional to get maximum texture.
