Description: Architecture, The Professional Architectural Monthly, Volume LVI, Number 3, September 1927, Charles Scribner’s Sons, softcover (12.5x10”) 118 pgs, b&w, color ils/photos/plan drawings. ….No ISBN Partial List of Contents (see Picture 3 for full list):Adam CeilingsMuseum at Le MansNYC Apartment-Mrs. C.R. HolmesJefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church, Detroit, Michigan“Wychwood” home in Wallingford, PADecorative Painting of Concrete SurfacesPlaster Houses in EnglandPalladian Motives There are lots and lots of pictures and drawings. For examples, color schemes of Adam Ceilings, leaded glass windows, and a foldout Plan of Beauty Parlor for the Hotel Roosevelt. Plus full page and part page advertisements, some in color, covering a wide range of topics: materials, design, finishings, furnishings etc. I picked a few of the many advertisements to show here: Celestalite, Otis elevators and Peele Freight elevator doors, plus a few others. Some of these could be appropriate for framing. Binding is tight but cover shows lots of edge wear and starting to separate at spine. Pages are slightly yellowed from age but clean. Many bottom right and a few upper right corners show some creasing/handling, but entirely in margins. Please see the pictures for more information about this book and the condition of this copy. ► We are thinning contents of our smoke-free, pet-free home. Books will be listed, plus toys including CCG and trading cards, fabric/wallpaper sample books, jigsaw puzzles, jewelry, household items and maybe some of my fishing and workshop stuff.
