Description: This color plate was previously published from 1886-1888 as part of a series produced by the printing house of Louis Prang of Boston. The color plate included in this sale is a 1912 reprint which was produced as part of the War Memorial Association’s commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Civil War in 1911. The artist is Thure de Thulstrup (Swedish 1848-1930) and portrays the Battle of Spottsylvania, May 8 to 21, 1864.The print is one-sided and measures roughly 12 x 9 inches. Thanks for your interest! I may use whatever shock absorbers (bubble wrap, stiffeners, etc) which are most appropriate for a particular sale in order to ensure safety during shipping. For unsealed CDs and DVDs, I will place a small piece of bubble wrap over the locked disc to help minimize the disc becoming loose from its hub during shipping (if applicable). I will not include this step for discs which are double-sided in order to minimize the scuffing during shipment that could occur.
