Leaves are about 4" to 8" wide. Fast growing. Grows approximately 10" to 20" tall. Semi shade. Water depth 1"-6". Zone 8 or higher. They are tropical plants but can be brought indoors and enjoyed in winter. Some bulbs have several growing tips and will grow into several plants from a single bulb. Very easy to plant, just place bulbs in moist soil in a pot or in the ground with growing tips above the soil. Leaves will sprout within 5-10 days or longer depending on soil and climate.(dont put the bulbs directly into the water as they will rot).
